    We should work on that here in PA. I know that HB 40 was supposed to have allowed open carry in state parks, but I don't think the DCNR feels the same way on that issue.

    When I left in '10 city parks in Norfolk were still somehow now covered due to preUFA law. I can't find the exact statement to that effect. Or I may be wrong. All they have is this now- bold is mine
    No alcoholic beverages, littering, glass containers, loud music, illegal weapons, obscene behavior, nudity, or open fires (grilling) permitted on the beach at any time. Grilling is allowed on the grass areas of both Community and Sarah Constant Park Beaches

    I think it had to do to what is a "illegal" weapon
