Default Here is a riddle for you Turkey Hunters

    Dark Green is thick woods
Light green is Fence Rows and mildly thick
    Tan is fields

OK Here is a Question on where I should set up tomorrow AM.

A week ago during ground hog hunting I seen two turkeys at Number 2.

Sat My buddys cousin got a Jake at Number 1

Today just before dusk I was scouting and spooked 4 turkeys 2 hens, a Jake and a gobbler at Number 3. The Hens went left to Number 2 and the jake and gobbler went right to Number 4.

Should I set up at Number 5 in the morning with a decoy in hopes the gobbler stayed at 4 for the night?

The sun will be at my back.

Sorry for the barbaric drawing and illustration.. Only way i could explain it.

From Number 1 to Number 4 is 1/4 Mile or better, crows flight

Set up with the woods at your back near 5 and 3. Face the field.

Are you using a ground blind or are you out in the open?

If using a blind face the field and put your decoys outside the hedge row in the field. If 3 is your 6 o'clock then face about 11 o'clock.

Call a couple of times so you get a response, but then be quiet. IF they want to come they will.

    Good luck and merry Christmas!
