My First Colt Pistol

I am 60 years old and I was given a box of old hand guns back in the early 60s. They are all antiques and they were collected by a Police Officer who was a good friend of my fathers. For many years I had them hanging on the walls of my room. When I was 18 I bought my first Colt, pre 70 series 1911 NM, or I thought it was my first Colt. Today I took out all of these old antique handguns that were given to me and I started looking at them closely. To my surprise the first one I looked out at said Colt's PT FA MFG CO on it. I just realized I have owned a Colt since I was about 11 yrs old.

The serial number is high, 106496 and is also marked with the same serial number under the barrel. I am attaching pictures of this Colt. Please feel free to post your thoughts and comments/knowledge about this pistol.

Another two RFs I have in the box of antiques is a DEFENDER 89 and a pistol marked DEFIANCE. The other ones in the box are not 22 RF but are marked BRITISH BULLDOG with a huge 8 1/2" barrel, a pistol marked RED JACKET No 3, and an Iver Johnson and Cycle Works pistol that maybe in 38 cal. I will be researching these in the very near future.
