Need range recommendations
Looking for a range in or near Philly where I can bring friends to do some target shooting, usually on weekends. Here's the problem:
I'm a member at SPAG but it's inevitable that the range is limited when we want to or are able to go.
I'm a member at Holmsburg but the 25 yard pistol range is too challenging for friends who have never shot before, and the stuff for 50' is usually locked in the shed.
I want to shoot my own ammo and keep my brass.
Are there other options out there?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Member CocoaP and I were at Double Tap yesterday. $20 too shoot for each of us. It wasn't crowded at all. My second time there and it was good both times.

Re: Need range recommendations
+1 on Classic Pistol. I have introduced many newbies to shooting at that range.

Re: Need range recommendations
I can recommend Double Action up in Yeadon, PA (right off of Baltimore Pike... really not that far). Really nice indoor pistol range, lots of lanes that go out to 25 yards. No rifles though, 10/22s are okay. Although, to be completely honest my only experience shooting here was from an IDPA match.
It has a friendly atmosphere, definitely one of the nicest looking indoor ranges I've gone to in terms of store front, parking, salesmanship, and it actually has an archery range! (SPAG removed theirs.) Vending machines, small lounge area. Their firearms prices are a lot better than most places, and they include all fees into their sticker price.
When I asked them about bringing your own ammo (DA is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to ammo), the guy behind the counter said "We're working on that policy." He told me if I bought a box of their ammo I could shoot my own. Hope that helps.
