10 round versus 15/16/17 round 9mm's
I'm looking to get a CZ 75b or 85b...I'm seeing 10 round capacity and 16 round capacity models. I assume this simply has to do with the mag capacity, is that correct? (I've seen this on a bunch of different models.) So if you bought a 10 round capacity model (and it isn't a compact or anything like that,) and you got a 16 round mag, the 16 round mag would work, right?

^^^^^this^^^^^. By the way, you will like the CZ.

CZ 85 is next on my list. Beautiful gun.
I'm not sure if I'll buy new or buy a surplus to get refinished.

Re: 10 round versus 15/16/17 round 9mm's
Pedning if its main purpose is to be a CC piece or a range, home protector multi purpose gun. If its to be a mPG then you will find that the 10 rounder will need reloading more so the 15-17 riund gun would be better. If its to be a CC gun then you want smaller outline and most times 10 round 9mm is what you want with the ability to use the larger mags. Most times they do hang quite a bit out of the gun unless you get a mag covers.
The CZ is a ergonomic and beautiful gun especially in SS.
