True enough. However my initial remark is on how some folks come to the conclusion that a person must conceal because of the word "concealed" in the name of the permit/license.

Even if PA's LTCF had concealed on it somewhere, there wouldn't be anything requiring a person to conceal.

PA's "LTCF" name is more deceptive than "CWP". Folks do in fact believe you must have a license to carry. ...which one doesn't unless you carry the "firearm" concealed, or in a vehicle, or in a City of the First Class, or during an emergency.

I keep trying to teach people that the name means nothing. Only the controlling text of law does. The UFA doesn't even give our license a Proper Name. A regulation from the PSP does. The law itself only refers to it as a "License" and sometimes as a "permit".
