    Default Tanner's gets an A+

I was in Tanner's this afternoon accompanying a friend making her first firearm purchase (Ruger SR9c with brushed stainless slide). She/we were helped by Kevin and the service was excellent. I picked up Hogue rubber grips for my Ruger MK II and a Ruger Ultimate Pepper Spray.

My friend bought the gun, ammo, Galco holster, eye and ear protection and cleaning supplies and she walked out grinning from ear to ear. Kevin was very helpful and patient with her.

She'll probably post up pics some time this weekend. It was only my second visit to Tanner's and her first, but definitely not the last.

I like Tanners too.... the first gun I bought there, it was a better deal than other places. The second gun I bought there, I found it cheaper somewhere else the next week, but oh well...I think it all evens out! Tanners gave me a fair price for a junk gun I traded in so it worked out okay.

Great place. And yes, they are kind and patient with women! :-)

Cton's offended my wife over twenty years ago. She left and started buying my guns at Tanner's. They greet her by name when she walks in. She has bought over twenty guns there in the past 15 years.
This should highlight the difference between the two opposing poles of customer service. At one end, you have a fat-ass trying to swallow a stool with his butt while simultaneously attempting to offend everyone who enters his store. At the other end you have several cheerful, helpful, respectful people-persons doing all they can to assist. I refuse to reward a fat-ass with our hard-earned cash. It's Tanner's for this household.
