Welp, just got a brand new Marlin 70PSS in the mail (Remington)
I sent a 70PSS of mine back to Marlin last August for warranty work, and JUST got a replacement back. They told me they aren't producing any 70PSSs since the transfer from Connecticut, but today, sitting on my door step, there was a brand new one with a MM serial number (Remington).
Anyone know what's up? Are they back in production? Did Jesus just leave me an imaginary rifle on my porch?
[EDIT] The more I think about it, the more I think this is just a sign that the gun is back in production, but they haven't made enough yet to start fulfilling orders. I say this because one of the customer service reps said that they were "pulling parts" for me and that was "unheard of." They probably just grabbed one off the assembly line and sent it off. In my non-expert opinion: start looking for new 70PSSs on the shelf soon! [/EDiT]Last edited by DreadPirateMoyer; April 13th, 2012 at 07:58 PM.
