Good Karma
Just thought I'd pass this on as I truly what goes around comes around. With that said, I recently helped out an individual who was scammed by a member (no longer) of this forum (the scam was done via another forum). In the end it all worked out and his money has been returned. On my lunch break I happened to stop in and relay this information to the local gun shops manager who was very helpful in helping this guy out. In our little chat I happened to notice a very nice (and even nicer priced) used Ruger SP101 in 357 magnum. This gun has been on my wish list for a while and I've had no luck finding one at a good price. Until today that is, and it's all the result of good karma.......... it's on layaway until I can come up with a good excuse to give my wife to justify my buying it...... have 30 days...... and I'm thinking hard............

Re: Good Karma
LOL he was saying you should say that to your wife. hahahaha..... Pretty sure he wasn't calling YOU "dear"!!!!
You could do like my husband and ask it for "early birthday" or "early Christmas".
I tease him that he says that, and then he ends up getting birthday or Christmas anyway....."Stupid people are ruining America." --Herman Cain

Re: Good Karma
wife: why do you want to buy that gun?
me: because I don't have one
I've been lucky as this seems to work. Looking forward to seeing pics of the SP101.

Re: Good Karma
Marriage should always be about compromising. My last gun purchase was contingent upon two new front doors, an entry door and a storm door. I look at it as a win-win. I get to enjoy my new pistol and the two new doors.
Shooting is, as it has always been, the fabric of America!

Re: Good Karma
LOL my translation:
Wife: why do you need that one when you already have so many?
Me: cuz I don't have one like it and I don't have one.
Wife: ok, after we pick up your new gun lets go look at guitars....
LOL so far in the last 6 months or so I have bought my wife a new laptop (Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp edition-not a bad trade), a new guitar (Beretta 92SB & Sig P226-better trade) and 2 new pairs of shows (Kimber SIS Custom - best trade)........
I'll have it within 30 days (starting on Friday the 13th) just working out how I'm going to go about it.
