.223 bullets
Anyone know where I can get the best deal on 22 cal bullets for loading .223?
I was looking for something cheap to load from my AR-15.
Do you think that a gun show will have good deals? I know that a gun show will be in the Harrisburg area in about a month.
I will be going to cabelas in a week and they have rem 22 cal 55 gr bullets for 7.99 per 100. I was thinking about getting 1,000 rounds so tat would be 79.99
Could i beat that at a gun show? I don't mind loading pulled bullets if they were cheap.

Re: .223 bullets
midwayusa.com usually has some good prices, but $80/1000 isnt terrible..
your best bet is to wait until someone like cabelas, or midway has a free shipping, or a $5shipping type thing then you save the shipping and tax charges. But it doesn't happen very often

They are great for plinking I got 1/2 groups at 50 yards with them have not tried 100 yards yet.The truth shall set you free.
They can have my guns when they pry them from my cold dead hands
I can not wait until NJ sinks in the ocean and PA has ocean front property

Re: .223 bullets
I get most of my stuff from midwayusa, I just got 1000 hornady 55gr FMJ-BT's for like 80 bucks, I just like hornady so I suck up the price. you can get cheaper tho.

Re: .223 bullets
Just up at cabellas last weekend... very disappointed. I don't think they have any kind of deals on ammo. I was looking for the mega keg of .22 but I found that (yikes) walmart was cheapest for .22 and .40 and 9mm etc. 80 for 1000 eh? sounds like Midway is the place to go. I'd use that as a bench mark for pricing. If you're going to a show why not pick up some ammo; you already paid 5-7$ to get in might as well make it worth it
