Positive Non-Encounter @ Auto Illusions, Moon Twp

Strapped up today for a few errands including picking up some parts for my truck, finding lunch, and going window shopping at a couple dealerships with the woman-to-be.

On the way up auto row, I decided to stop at Auto Illusions to ask about lift options for my truck. The rep was kind and informative and rather than me dumping a whole bunch of cash into my 2002 Ram 1500, he offered several other low cost solutions.

When we were done talking, he asked if I caught a lot of flack open carrying, and asked about my firearm. He turned out to be a gun owner himself (Glock), and preferred to conceal carry. We discussed advantages and disadvantages of open vs concealed, and I stated that I usually decide how to carry when planning out my day, and also depending on what I am wearing. We also discussed the finer points of the law. I pointed him to this forum and he stated he lurked from time to time.

All in all a good stop and will definitely take my business to him when the time is right. This is the second "encounter" I've had in my year and a half of carrying, and I can only thank PAFOA for preparing me and giving me the confidence to open carry.
