Blair County Questions

I'm about to take the plunge and get my LTCF (just downloaded the app from another topic). My wife and I had our son two months ago, and funds are permitting at the moment, so I feel it's time to take responsibility for my family and arm ourselves.

So, where the hell am I going? Do I just go to the courthouse with my $20? Or is the sheriff located somewhere else. I tried looking for info on the Blair Co. website, but couldn't find anything. Might be due to the fact I don't own a computer and am using my phone for browsing for the time being.

Also, anyone else get theirs in Blair? If so, any oddities I should be aware of? How's the wait time?

It sure is a limited info web page. Probably best to phone them during the week and ask for the procedure.

Just ask the screeners at the courthouse for the sheriff's office and they will direct you. Under the old sheriff, I believe you had to be there by 3:30. When I got mine it was about 15 minutes and I left with my card.
