M-113 Claymore Edition! If I were a BG, I wouldn't wanna get anywhere near that thing! LOL

    Here is the picture's caption...
Senior Airman Travis Hummel (standing) and Airman 1st Class Adam Giebitz patrol Feb. 10 in an M-113 Armored Personnel Carrier at the Theater Internment Facility at Camp Bucca, Iraq. Airmen Hummel and Giebitz are deployed from Robins Air Force Base, Ga., and are assigned to the 886th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron's quick response force. The QRF responds to issues within the TIF in which a show of force or escalation of force is required beyond the capabilities for the TIF's guard force. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jason McCree)
Take note of the claymores on the side of the vehicle.

Won't the claymores detonate if the vehicle is shot and blow up the guys inside? I know that's probably a stupid question to most of you.

Most of the blast energy and frag is directed out of the front of the claymore, so the armor on the PC is more than adequate to protect the occupants.

Thats a neat idea they used there but I have a question........

When they set those babys off it HAS to rearrange the planets of the guys inside right? I can't immagine that the concussive wave is completely blocked being so close is it?

I'd say majority, I don't know about most (blast). The claymores are also in an enclosure, looks dangerous to me. Then again, we are all guessing.
