Flying with firearm
What actions does one have to take if they would want to bring their handgun along with them to Florida on an airplane?
Now, I already know I can't just CARRY it on the plane. How do I do this? Do I have to have the gun locked in a box ammo seperate? Should I call ahead of time to give them a heads up?
Oh yeah, and to tripple check, Pa is good in Fla. right?
I'm leaving from Pgh International Airport by the way."Do not use K-9 advantix on cats"

Re: Flying with firearm
Friend of mine wrote this up and presented it at Defcon a few years ago, should answer just about any of your questions about the procedure: http://deviating.net/flying/
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
