Navy Vet wrestles shotgun from intruder....
and survives...
Found this here:

A former naval officer returned to her Shepherdsville home with her two young children on a Sunday morning to find an intruder in her home pointing her own shotgun at her. Rather than submit to the home invasion, she grappled with the burglar for control of the gun, which ultimately went off and struck the burglar in the head. He later died of his wounds. Neighbors are praising the homeowner’s courage, with one saying she plans on seeking self-defense advice from her. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

What a tragedy - all that shot peppering the walls and furniture - hopefully insurance will cover it!
As for the BG dying - PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Navy Vet wrestles shotgun from intruder....
No need for the sarcasm, that's exactly what happened. The BG stole the firearm from the owner, she took it and used it on him. Couldn't have worked out any better for her.
Ya know what's really sad, I have been unable to find an actual article about this in any "real" media source. Lots of forum links and one from FreeRepublic, but nothing else on any other site.

I guess this one doesn't fit the agenda that guns save lives, nor was it racially controversial.Last edited by streaker69; April 4th, 2012 at 01:25 PM.

Now that is what I call "Girl Power".
Great news, always good to hear that it's the bad guy who gets some speed-holes in their head.

Re: Navy Vet wrestles shotgun from intruder....
Thanks, I missed that little link on FreeRepublic. It's odd though that I couldn't find it in any google searches though. Looked for the dead guy's name with a date range of when it happened, didn't turn up anything. Looked for the neighbor's name quoted in the article, still nothing.
I did find a couple more articles searching for "25-year-old Christopher Sanford died of that wound', but normally you can find these things by searching for a name in the article and giving it a date range if there's too many results. Just found it odd.Rules are written in the stone,

I know.
Here's my search: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...w=1143&bih=666
It's most strange that it doesn't show up, but then I've been noticing that in the News section of Google, there's been a lot of things not showing up.Rules are written in the stone,
