Thumbs up Eastern Arms & Outfitters (Albrightsville/Carbon)

Picked up a Daniel Def AR through them this week.. extremely knowledgeable & helpful staff, good prices, and will definitely be heading back there

The shop is on Route 903, just west of Route 534 near Hickory Run State Park, Split Rock, etc. It is in the same shopping center as Subway and the beer distributor (how i originally 'found' it... )

Glad to see something local opening

Interesting. When did they open and what's the selection and pricing like? Are they fair in your opinion?

My wallet is glad they opened up after I sold my bread route. If you go by the Sportsmen Deli, tell them the old bread guy says, "Hi".

Looks like they opened in February, selection is still building - but they were able to get me what I wanted in a couple days. Price was fair for the DD - ammo is a bit higher than I like to pay - but I buy bulk online anyway.

Looks like they are off to a good start, hoping that it works out for 'em as having something close by is a plus for me

jcabin, let me know when you are going to check it out. I'm always up for a trip to a new gun store in town. Maybe this will help me get over the dissapointment from The Armory.

Stopped in today. Small shop, lots of good reloading supplies. Fishing supplies too. I have to say that Mark is one of the nicest most personable shop owners I've met in a while. I did not catch the woman's name that worked there but she was also very welcoming.

! Reloading supplies? Good to know. I live in albrightville I've seen this place. One of my neighbors said it was kind of expensive. However a local source of reloading supplies is nice to have. I'll have to go check it out. Just loaded a few hundred rounds that I need to shoot through.
