    Default What a rude neighbor!

Well as some of you may recall, my neighbor has some sort of thing against guns because of a person in her past that pointed one at her or something like that.

Well after some good advice from you guys I decided to take the high road and just be polite and smle whenever I would see her. Well, yesterday was finally the day in which I actually saw her face to face. I just got home from work and was walking up the path where she was at (same walkway leads to our homes) I smiled and said "good afternoon" to which I received a blank stare and quickly went behind a screen door in her home and just stared at me.

I just pretty much shook my head and walked into my house. So I'm pretty sure nothing I could do would bring her to seeing the light. It was just so awkward to have that happen. I told my wife who works with her to pass the message that it's very impolite to blow someone off when greeted. I'm certain she didn't pass it along lol.

Not much you can do but keep being your normal polite and smiling self.

Now plan a PAFOA OC BBQ to be held in your back yard this summer.

Kudos for trying... not much else can you do. At least she is behind her screen as opposed to in your face.

I wouldn't write her off after one face to face encounter. For all you know she could have been raped at gun-point, watched a mugger aim a gun at her kid, or suffered abuse at the hands of a gun-toting bf. She might be seriously traumatized and need time before she can trust someone with a gun around her.

On a related note. Where can I find this bullet proof screen? I would really like to get a nice defense contract. I guess with a little bit of mesh, I could find someway to inflate the price rediculously.

A BBQ...what a great idea. Be sure to invite your neighbor, too.

I've never been able to comprehend people who can just rudely turn away from someone who is greeting them. Good grief, its not that hard to smile and say "Hi". You don't have to like somebody to do it.
