Browning BPS or lefty:great choice?
Hi,
As a total, natural lefty, would the Browning BPS Trap model be a great
choice for a first shotgun to double as BOTH HD and recreational singles
trap shooting?
I currently own 3 handguns.
(I am NOT a hunter)
Thanks!

Re: Browning BPS or lefty:great choice?
For what it's worth I am also a "lefty" and had a Browning BPS for years. I shot trap/skeet for years with it and never had an issue. Sold the gun 10 years ago and regret it every day since.
Shells never came across my face, easy to load and ejections were never an issue. If I had to do it all over again I would have held on that thing and never sold it.

Yes, I have looking at BOTH the Browning BPS and the Ithaca 37, 12 gauge. I think I may feel more pride in ownership with the American made Ithaca as opposed to the Japanese made Browning.

not to mention the fact that you could probably find a used ithaca for under 250- and easy at that, given age/choke.
the old ones slam-fire as well.

The Browning BPS Trap is a great gun for anyone, Lefty or Righty. We have two that we received form a NRA Grant and they just flat out crush targets.

I own 2 BPS's and love them. The bottom eject should cater to either Left or Right handed shooters. The tang thumb safety is another plus.
