    Default Tagua Gunleather IWB

I usually carry OWB, but I've been looking for a summer IWB holster. I wanted it to be compact, allow for one-handed reholstering, and also high-wrapped leather that surrounded most of the slide. I purchased this Tagua Gunleather IWB holster, and have been wearing it for the last two weeks. Tight fit, but nice draw. I can say I have finally found an IWB that fit my criteria, and as a bonus is also comfortable.

Please post updates as to how it holds up. The only previous user report I've seen on Tagua Leather was exceptionally negative (and, IMHO, the issue the person described struck me as being impossible in the real world), but my local gun shop stocks them and sells a bunch of them, and I have inspected several only to come away with the opinion that they appear to be nicely made, good leather, and very reasonably priced.

I had a Tagua leather holster for my 1911. The leather literally fell apart in less than a year.

And no, I didn't get it wet or treat it badly.

Yikes! How did it fall apart? Did the leather split, or the stitching come out?

Ive been using a tagua IWB holster for at least 6 months now, looks similar to yours except smaller and doesnt cover the barrel. Its held up great so far, Im really happy with it.
