    Default First WASR10 Furniture Stain

    Hey all...

Picked up a WASR10 a few weeks ago. I wanted to "spice" up the furniture a little bit. Hate to say this is my first time using stain; but it is... I don't think it came out half bad.

Looks nice. That stain really pulls out the woodgrain.

Now give it a couple coats of poly and watch it really "pop!"

    Here's mine:

Looks really good, as Snakeman said a few coats of polyurethane will really make the grain pop out. It's all just preferance, mine looks just like yours while my brother had me add the poly like snakemans.

It will also seal the color in. And you can get poly in varying levels of gloss.

Even the matte will add a little zip. Without being shiny.

    I use semi-gloss.

Thanks. I think I am going to put another layer of polyeurathane or two on it. It has two now but can use some more. Great photos!
