    Default NHRPC URBAN RIFLE MATCH

Our April match will press urban rifle skill sets in both carbine and precision courses of fire (you shoot one or the other). The precision CoF will include a DMR category for scoped semi-auto .223's. Any other caliber is scored as a precision rig. No bipods on carbines unless using a firearm equipped with one at the factory (e.g. RPK, semi-auto bren, etc).

Both platforms should expect the challenges that come with barricade shooting, use of a vehicle as cover and a shooting platform, unorthodox shooting positions, and negotiating other features found in urban environments.

CoF and round counts to follow. There will be a pistol and 15 or so rounds for it needed for carbine. Strong side holster only.

    Members $20, guests $30. 0830 start time.

"and negotiating other features found in urban environments."

Do we have to hail a cab with a front slung rifle and a vest full of mags? That will be tough.

Wait until the CoF is done. You'll shit bricks when you see it.

What do you think the shoot run time will be? Would like to get up there, shoot and get back to the city for a family dinner. Greedy I know

We are usually done and all cleaned up by 1400-1500.

I have to crack the whip sometimes to keep things moving.

Both CoF's are done. The hard part is deciding which one I want to shoot! They are both very cool.

Do we reserve the right to change which CoF we choose once they are posted? I signed up for carbine, but might be interested in switching. I have succesfully obtained 2 Saturdays off within a 3 week period which is a first! To hell with car sales lets go shooting!

Yes, I will switch anyone who wishes to in advance of the match. Just send me an email with that request, and show up with the right platform.

I will post them once approved by the club's executive board.
