Moving to PA with non-resident LTCF
New member here with a quick question. I currently reside in DE but I'm moving to Dauphin County next month. I currently have a resident DE CCDW permit and non-resident PA LTCF issued by Centre County. My PA LTCF doesn't expire until 2015. Is there any reason for me to run off and get a resident LTCF from Dauphin County as soon as I move, or will my current LTCF showing my DE address still be good through 2015?
If it makes any difference, I will be swapping my DE driver's license for a PA license ASAP because I'm anxious to get the NFA process rolling on some things that I couldn't own in DE.
Thanks,
WR

Re: Moving to PA with non-resident LTCF
A "non-resident" LTCF is identical in every way to a "resident" LTCF. It is the individual that is either res or non-res.
All you will want to do (this is not a requirement) is call the Center Co Sheriff's Dept and let them know of your new address. They will simply use this to send you a reminder in the mail when it is time for you to renew.
When you renew you will do it with the Sheriff's Dept for the county in which you reside, no Centre Co unless you live there.
Edited to add: Welcome to PA (when you finally do move) and welcome to PAFOA.
.While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Speaking of the PA DL, they have some sort of shitty regulation (or law?) requiring you to have the DL pretty quick if you are driving, and update the address within 15 days (I think?) if you change address. Might want to look into it.
