    Default Armageddon Build

I saw a new receiver set and i had to get it. too badass to pass up. its a newer midular designed upper and lower very similar to a mega arms billet set. has a captured buffer pin retainer pin and spring. just a sweet piece. just gonna make this a running log for this build. take the old upper and lower set off for a different new build and just wanted to make a new bass ass rifle. stay tuned for more updates

upper/lower billet set from black rain ordnance

    Looks great!

I see Black Rain Ordinance all over Cheaper Than Dirt but know nothing about them. Their prices are on par with the "top tier" AR stuff. So, what gives??

    Likewise.
I looked them up and unless my Googlefu was off, I didn't find anything negative but also didn't find any shouting about how great they are either.
Their website, when I last looked, didn't tell me much about them and how long they've been around.
Top tier pricing for a company that I hadn't heard of until a few CTD catalogs ago........hmmmmn.

That does look kinda neat. I like how the trigger guard is oversize and already part of the lower receiver.
