Default Gun sales explode as election looms

Sales of handguns and ammunition are booming across the country, and retailers say it’s all about the November election.

Gun shop owners around the nation told FoxNews.com that sales, brisk ever since President Obama was elected, have spiked upward in recent months. And manufacturers are having so much trouble keeping up with the demand that one, Sturm, Ruger & Co., can’t keep up with demand. The Southport, Conn.-based company has had to suspend new orders after taking orders for more than 1 million guns in the first three months of the year. Smith & Wesson sales are way up, as well.

Could this be because we are 1 justice away from lsoing the second amendment or having it greatly weakened?

Personally I think another war between the states might be brewing.

Well because FOX always reports the truth......... I think the media is paid to start this kind of shit. And the more stories they put out the more the public feeds off of it. The ones who are stocking up now are really the ones making the shortage and making things look worse than they are. That being said I have been stocking up myself.

Get over yourself. Please. This isn't a Fox news fabrication.
    First: There's evidence on FBI.gov
Second: The posters saying they were told the same by their local dealers aren't getting their information from Fox.
Third: It was the same way last election and yes, prices did go way up.
Fourth: Gun sales aren't tracked by FOX news. They're tracked by the law enforcement agencies which track the background checks and yes, gun sales are booming from what I've seen.

I'm aware of what happened last election. I'm sure dealers dont mind this time of year considering they are making money. And of course gun sales are booming everyone anticipating the shortage are creating the shortage.
