Default .22 Ammo price increase at Dick's

My .22 ammo of choice is CCI Standard Velocity. It works well in just about everything I own in .22. As of last week, I was able to buy bricks (500rds) at Dick's Sporting Goods for 24.99. I see that today prices have risen to $27.99 per brick.
Looking at Wal-mart for .22 Mini-mags I have seen their price increase by .20 per 100. It appears that gas prices, etc, etc has driven the prices up already. 9mm and .223 seem to have remained steady (for now).

I recall the price increases of 2008/2009 and it all began with .22 ammo increases as well. Just curious what others may be seeing around as well.

I realize your talking specifically about CCI, but I picked up a few bricks of Rem Golden's about 2 weeks ago at Dicks (Delaware) for 16.99 ea.

Remington .22s have a pretty bad reputation for sucking.

Try CCI Blazers. Got them for around $14 a brick. Good enough for plinking fun.

Where are you finding Blazers for $14? Around here the best price I have found is at LGS for $17 a brick.

So I've heard, but I put about 200 through a JENNINGS J-22 of all things without a hiccup (many of these pistols can only feed Mini-Mags on a good day). On my way home from the range I picked up another 4 bricks. My only other .22 is a bolt, so cheap hollow points=plenty of squirrel stew next winter.

Sportsmans Supply in Butler had them on sale a while ago. I bought a case for $129.95. I'm kinda stocked up for a while.
Natchez has them cheap sometimes, but you pay in shipping. And ammo is heavy

Just by them online. You can get CCI standards 5000 rounds for 250 to 265 delivered right to your door.
