Well I should have gone with what I wanted to do in the first place and let the owner know we were going to have our guns on us. But I was miss guided. He said no so any ideas for the same date and time?

Well the problem with State parks is that with the current understanding of the law it is illegal to OC there (as in there are two contradictory laws now with the passing of castle doctrine and no one has challenged it yet is my understanding.) so I would suggest not at a state park. Local parks are fine such as township owned ones which even if they have a no firearms sign it is still legal to carry as those signs are in violation of the UFA.

Edit:
Also, you can still be heckled by police and possibly taken to court over these false signs and while you would almost assuredly win the case it will likely be expensive.

The above is my understanding of the law and by no means is it garunteed correct. If I'm wrong someone please correct me and give the proper info.

Yes, however I personally don't have much money to defend myself in court if the goobers decide to write their own laws. If you step up to spot me I'll go!
