S&B ammo?
Was shooting Sellier and Bellot out of my Glock 26 Gen4 and things did not go well. Tons of failure to eject, though when I shot UMC and Winchester out of it there were no issues. Anyone else have trouble shooting S&B out of a Glock 26 Gen4?

Re: S&B ammo?
I have had problems shooting it out of a glock 26 gen 3 and out of a couple 45s. I stay away from it now.

Re: S&B ammo?
No problems with my 19. Had problems with it in a Ruger though. Pieces of the primer were sticking to the firing pin.

Re: S&B ammo?
Limp Wristing comes to mind. Not to mention, the Gen 4's are known to be problematic. You should let someone else shoot it to see if they experience the same issues. How many rds through the gun? Did you experience this with other ammo? Not trying to say you dont know what youre doing but, it always helps to diagnose issues like you mention. (letting someone else shoot it)
I've fired plenty of rds of S&B out of a Gen 3 19 (among other pistols) without issue. As well as my buddies with other various pistols with no issues (P30, Taurus's, another G3 19, M&P)
I know none of the ones I mention are on the smaller side (well, my one bud's Taurus is of the sub-compact variety) but, I would suspect the 26 is even more prone to limp wristing than the bigger guns because of less slide mass/inertia moving the slide to the rear.
First, I'd try the same ammo with a better, tighter, grip on the gun. I'd probably blame the Gen4 or limp wristing before the ammo. OMMV
If it continues to be problematic with a tighter grip and othe ammo, you might need to change the extractor or send it back. Do a search for Gen4 issues and you'll see what I'm talking about.Last edited by brownman; March 18th, 2012 at 10:27 PM.

Re: S&B ammo?
It's interesting to hear these kinds of reviews of S&B ammo considering their not-so-cheap price tags...although I do realize every gun is different and can end up liking different ammo from another one of the same kind.

Re: S&B ammo?
I've shot plenty of their 9mm rounds and find it to be some of the cleanest, best performing ammo that I have ever used. I'd not hesitate recommend it to most anybody.

S&B shoots well in all my guns..... including my Glock(s).
I don't watch shark week. Sharks watch FLICK week.
