    This (57.5) is the load I got the best group with. I made 3 different loads with H4831sc, 53gr, 57 and 57.5, the 53 was just an experiment but the 57.5 shot very well. The factory Federal Fusion is a 3 shot group the rest are 5 shot groups.
    Factory loads:
    my hand loads: the 2 flyers are me also
    The flyer on the bottom was me, I must have flinched...2 for flinching!

    I start at max COAL (3.340 for the 270 Win) and work at that length until I settle on a powder charge, then I may play with the seating depth a bit to see if groups tighten up.

    60 grains of H4831 just comes to the bottom of the case neck so compression would be minimal, especially with flat base bullets.
