Hello. i was wondering if i get my Arizona ccw permit will i be able to carry in the great state of Ohio. and how long should i expect to wait till i get the permit in the mail? Is Florida any better. thank you in advance

They are running about 30-60 days. Is FL better? Not really...FL is twice the cost of AZ...for about the same coverage.

Sent my Arizona application out on February 10th. Still waiting...and yes, my purpose for applying is for Ohio concealed carry.

I had my AZ back in 35 days. This included mail time and weekends.

I think FL gives you 7 years on their license compared to 5 with AZ, but I'd still go with AZ for the easier and overall cheaper (I believe) way to go.

You could also go with UT, but you need a special class done by a UT certified instructor, prints and a photo.

And the wait for UT, I believe, is much longer.

AZ requires prints, but no photo.

Utah is pretty much a solid 60 days. I just received mine a short time ago.

my az permit took 2months sent off in 1st in dec and received it around 1st week in feb...

fl is much faster considering turn around time and yes you'll be good to cc/oc in ohio on az permit, i frequent ohio and carry on my az permit.
