Default Did I catch "Shiny Gun" Fever?

What is happening to me! I have been a "blued" handgun fan all my life.

However, these past two months I got rid of a number of rifles and some handguns that I don't use anymore in trades. I then noticed that all of the handguns that I traded for ended up with me getting some some nice "shiny guns" in return!

Has anyone else very contracted this disease? If so, let me what you got.

In all seriousness, other than a S&W 637 that I ccw'ed with, all my handguns were blued. I picked up a couple of "duo tones" (P220 & BHP) and made the jump to Nickel Finish and Stainless Steel. Pictured are what I picked up in the last two months - Python in Electroless Nickel, Enhanced King Cobra in SS, Walther Interarms PPK/S in SS, CZ75B in both Satin Nickel and Polished SS (don't ask me how I ended up with two CZ's, lets just say I should have had more patience.)

The shinier (if that is a word) CZ is polished stainless steel, the other is satin nickel.

I also prefer stainless guns myself, rifles and pistols. For the first time in my life a few months ago I purchased my first gun based on it being pretty and shiny.

I think I am getting a little soft. Your not alone in your love of shiny.

Colt GCT stainless, SA Loaded longslide stainless, PT 92 stainless, A200 stainless, P220 Match Elite stainless, PT 1911 done in brite silver, two stage acrylic enamel with pearl grips. Rem. 700 SPS stainless. Yes, I like them shiny, too.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I sold a stainless S&W .460 to pay off my HK USP Elite bill, so I like them in black, too.

    Mity2,

I like the "upturned" beaver tail on yours. Mine also came with an "ambi"safety unlike the Satin Nickel which came with a normal "right handed" safety.

Do you know if the "ambi" safety was an option on the polished stainless or was that standard?

I'm not sure. When I ordered mine, I wasn't asked if I wanted the am I or not.
I have to be honest. While I love my Cz75b, I do not like the safety lever.
I have hard time disengaging it without break my grip. Must be due to way they are shaped?
If I have choice, I'd rather have decocker like they have on SP-01...
