I like the digi-cam but think the frame color ruins it. Just leaving it black woulda been a lot nicer or maybe a different color. It also looks glossy, possibly making it slick in wet/damp conditions or with sweaty hands in the summer.

As long as he likes it is all that matters though. Everyones a critique on the internet.

All the guns my buddies are getting done are not to be tactical but to look cool. It can be done with a flat look and less shine as not to stand out but as far as making it any slicker then it was is not true.

I like the work but not overjoyed with the color selection. If the owner enjoys it, cool. I have learned over my years with custom painting and tattoos that you have to enjoy the work itself and not what it is or supposed to be. That's why my gun, motorcycle, and tattoo designs are mine. Trust me I know what it's like to be the only person at a 2000 person bike night and have the only flat olive drab green bike with no chrome in the entire place. Got alot of wow it's nice but not what I would do. I feel the same about this gun.

Thats awesome and the only reason I wouldnt wanna do it is because you already did. Its the whole "dont bite my style thing", try to be original and do your own thing. There used to be a guy with an olive drab MK1 GTi that rolled around up my way and I always thought is was great.

Whata they say though, imitation is the biggest form of flattery.

My marine buddy is a desert colors freak and would love his XDM to look like that I bet. Pretty slick.
