Two guns sold in NBC Undercover program were sold by NYPD Officers ?
I was in a local shop yesterday talking to the owner and killing some time and another customer was there and the subject of gun politics came up. This guy claimed to have heard or seen reports that two of the firearms that were sold to private purchasers without background checks in that Today Show undercover thing last week were sold by a couple of NYPD Cops or Detectives ?
Anyone else heard this or have any confirmation ? I would LOVE to do an article exposing once again King Mike's law breaking minions.Si vis pacem, para bellum

Haven't heard anything about this, but if it was a sting setup it would be interesting to here a follow up, but don't think so since it was the media. I watched that program and still don't know in what town, city or state that parking lot was. Maybe I missed it.

Remember: This is legal, and lots of people in this country support private gun sales without background checks. They say it’s not about making money; it’s about individual rights. As for the eight guns we bought, we turned them over the the Phoenix police department... where they will be destroyed.Last edited by NuclearSociety; February 23rd, 2012 at 03:06 PM.

Any Sporting good store, ask for the cricket, it's usually the cheapest one that can bring down an aircraft.
(yes even the lowly .22lr can do the job. Trick is to hit the pilot) BTW this is NOT an endorsement of the activity, just showing how anything fit the bill as painted by the uninformed.

Sheesh! I wonder why he didn't turn in those evil bullets to be destroyed also.

I have avoided several conversations with coworkers regarding the very same issue. They make a comment about hollow points being for nothing except murder and I can't help but drop my head and walk away. I wish I could educate them, even just the slightest, but most already have it too firm in their heads.

There have actually been several incidences of NYCPD trafficking in firearms, drugs, gambling, and theft.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Bullets either will stay intact and penetrate (evil armor-piercing bullets) or else they dissipate energy by expanding or breaking up (evil DumDum bullets.)
This is all part of the no-win definitions games that the Progressives play. Same as the simultaneous attacks on inaccurate Saturday Night Specials and the very accurate "sniper rifles". The large "assault weapons" and the small, concealable "junk guns".
Split the target into two categories, and attack both categories on alternate days.
NYC has some of the toughest gun control laws in the nation, and it hasn't eliminated crime. So they have to argue that crime is caused by guns that are outside the control of New York's wonderfully effective gun control laws. If only we could ban guns nationwide, like we did with crack cocaine, then we could eliminate all gun crime, like we did with illegal crack use.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com
