I should have expected a positive encounter with the gentalman. I was leaving pizza hut in new castle, when a guy pulled into the parking lot. His truck had a veterans license plate, and a marines license plate on the front. I passed his trick getting to my car, he saw my weapon on my side and said "Hey!" I turned around and acknowledged him. he came over to me and said, "thank-you." I said, "excuse me?" He said, "I think every Pennsylvanian should be armed!" And he shook my hand. I agreed fully, and didn't notice if he himself had a firearm, but really didnt take it much further because i had a hungry family waiting for their pizza at home. Haha.

It was just nice to see someone outside of the gun community I hang with, agree with the way I feel about weapons

That's a great story. I've had similar things happen to me a few times but not for the past year or so. Maybe people are now intimdated by my recently improved good looks. Two started out like this:

- "That's a sight for sore eyes."

- "We need more of that around here."

I agree, we DO need to see more armed citizens out there! It's refreshing to see people actually practicing their constitutional rights.

Hah, that's just down the road from me! I jog by it with my shepherds when the weather is decent. Gotta admit, one of the good points to this town is that it's gun friendly.

Lately work has had me taking my jogs at odd hours, but at least it's made the neighborhood a little quieter. I was just out this afternoon with the dogs. If you see a guy in cammies with shepherds, then that'd be me.
