Jamming happens event when the supressor isn't mounted. I have thoughoutly cleaned the M9 even the ejector ect with no change. Seems like the only thing that matters is if the pistol is well oiled and lubed before fire. Then after the 50-100 rounds it jammes like clockwork. I think I received one of those twitchy guns....

Wow I am surprised. Mine never jammed even after ingesting 150-200 rounds of reloads.

What ammo are you using? Have you tried different mags?

I can't say I've used different mags. I have 4 total about 10 years old with all of them. I get same results no matter which one I use.

Currently I primarily use Winchester 115G ball, UMC (Remington) 115G. I don't go with the hotter loads because if I recall the user manual said not to use the 124G or 147G due to excess tolerances over time. I carry (124HP) for self defense but not range time.

    Anymore suggestions?

Getting a can for your Mac is about the best thing you can do for your Mac. The differences in handling and shooting is amazing to behold.

Then get a can your your M16A1. There is discernible increase in accuracy as long as you don't shoot offhand. Shooting suppressed offhand takes extra muscle power.

Question: Most AC556"s I have seen came with walnut finished hardwood stocks. When did Ruger use real walnut on there Mini-14's and AC556's???
You don't have enough guns untill you don't know how many you have.

According to David Spiwak, very early (1st year) AC556's had walnut stocks and hand guards. It's probably not a big deal but it does look nice.
