Default Re: NFA Owners roll call

I'm new here, in fact this is my first time joining a forum.

I'm hoping you can help me with a question.

I am the happy owner of two class 3 firearms:

1: A registered sear for a HK MP5. This gun has been a lot of fun. Everyone that picks it up gets a big smile on their face.

    2: A M-16 A2. I love to feel like Rambo.

I have a question I would love some help with. I was surfing today and came across some information about M-16's that had not really sunk home before. The A1 version is reported to have been configured with a Safe-Semi-full selector lever. The A2 version was changed to: Safe-Semi-and 3 Round Burst. The A3 version had a flat top rail for scope mounting etc.

My question is: My rifle is marked "M16 A2", the selector is marked: Safe-Semi-Auto. And it has the regular carry handle (non-detachable).

So, do I have something unusual or is Wikipedia up in the night?

Not a life or death question but I would love to hear what you guys think.

    Thanks in advance.

Well... It would be an NFA item if I lived in the U.S.

Yup. You'd also be able to carry that handgun And be able to own ANY of the NFA items I own, but you can't own any of them

I'm just giving back, bro You like to show off your imported arms and your SBRs to us poor Americans, but you know we still got it better

I sent for 2 tax stamps on Friday. The first is a can for my Beretta 92 FS. I had my mini Draco in the truck so I figured what the heck. Form 1 for and SBR. I'm installing a VZ-58 stock on the Mini Draco when the stamp arrives.

I gotta tell you, I almost bought a M-10 .45 RPB double stamp or an M-10 9mm Powder Springs before I got out of there.

I just could'nt make my mind up between the 2 smg's or a chrome rear wheel for my Harley lol.

I did alot of research this weekend on the mac 10's and i'm pretty much leaning towards the .45.. The wheel can wait I'm going back to the class 3 ffl later this week.

I guess i'm part of the NFA community now. That is if you'll have me. Cost me alot of cash to post this.

Now for the 4 month wait.

I waited a little over four months. I have about 600 rounds through it so far no problems at all. I am very pleased so far.

A little experience on a 45, lots of online research. Seems to be worth the cash.
