No, but my visits to the area are once a month at most.

Have you considered posting at Delaware Open Carry? http://deloc.org/

You will likely get better info (and more of it) there. Good bunch of people, and some are also members here, including the owner of that site.

No permit is needed to OC in DE...with exception of Dover.

Keep in mind you still have the Federal Gun Free School Zone 1000' distance thing to worry about. You can only carry within 1000' of a school if you have permit/license issued by the state where the school is located.

You "should" not have any problem. But.... Do I have any faith that they will know DE honors AZ - NO. Print this page and keep it with you.

Funny you ask...... was hit by a drunk driver in Newark / Bear DE, on route 40 about a quarter mile down the road from seasons pizza. Long story short.... she fled.... and DE state police caught her.

When DE state police arrived I notified the officer i was carrying, gave him my AZ permit, and he asked that I unload my XDM compact and place it in his trunk for the time being. Seeing as he was responding to my problem, i had no issue complying.

He took my AZ license for a minute or two, and i got it back later with my gun. Wasn't hassled at all. Didn't need to notify them I was carrying, but wanted to gauge their reaction for potential future encounters, (since i go to Widener Law school in DE) and figured that it was as good a time as any.
