Philadelphia LTCF Fee

Hi All,

I was about to go apply for my LTCF in Philadelphia and still have to get a money order. Looking at the application on http://www.phillypolice.com/assets/d...pplication.pdf it states the fee is $20 but PAFOA and a couple of the posts I've seen mention it being $25. Can someone tell me how much they paid? The posts I've seen have been from 2010.

The current fee, statewide (and even Philly!), is $20.00

People who haven't gotten a LTCF, or renewed, since May 2011 may give you a different answer because prior the fees were different across the state, but as of May 2011 the STATEWIDE fee became $20.00.

Thank you for the quick reply, I knew I'd get more info here then the Philly section. Got there around 12:30pm and didnt get out till 2:10pm. Made sure to have copies of everything before getting there and included a copy of my Arizona license, chick that I dealt with was pretty nice, older lady with black rimmed glasses. Glad I didnt get this other one with a mean look like she didnt want to be there. I did get the dad and moms full names and tattoos questions. Didnt feel like fighting them so I just answered to get it over with, I had a work call at 2PM that I wanted to get to. Oh yeah, 45 days to receive answer is what they told me.

I got mine around the price change and they were turning people away for having the MO for $25. I saw a few people almost lose it in the stall. Not the best place for an outburst.

They never let anyone know. Basically you have to go down there in person and state it has been beyond 45 days. The fact that they count business days in my OP is not allowed by statute but that's Philly for ya.

From the friday at 45 business days I received my letter the following monday. Had until May 19 to pick it up and didnt get a chance until today. Don't understand the reason for requiring 3 passport photos when they still took one of me today. So anyways, now I have my PA LTCF.

Wtf? Passport photos? Philly is weird... I say we give them to another state and be done with the whole thing.
