Default A black and white issue......

So we celebrated Tania in Pennsylvania's 34th birthday (<--hmmmm. Did I just violate unwritten code?).
I was messin' with the camera's light settings while playing with the B&W mode.

The pics didn't come out as I hoped. I really like B&W photography.....especially when the photos have that slightly warmed over and aged look to them. Sort of like a nice old vacuum tube amplifier vs. a solid state jobbie.

    Happy B-day Tania!!!

And by looking at that last picture, I would think you are 10 years younger than you really are. You just look so damn young in that picture.

    She always gets carded.

And I typically look OLDER that I am (also 34).

So whenever we go out for drinks/dinner together...Some folks tend to 'look at me sideways' so to speak. <evil grin>

Yeah, I know what you mean. My wife is 2.5 years older. But looks much younger at times. She will often get carded and I won't. Not that I look old or anything...just cracks me up. But I am not complaining on how youthful she looks. I love it!

Gotta tell ya bud, I'd be one giving you those sideways looks. She doesn't look anywhere near the age you claim her to be. In the meantime, congratulations Tania on hitting 29, many happy returns.

I think the photos look good! With B&W's sometimes just a simple contrast and brightness tweak makes them pop! Example...

Oh and Happy Birthday to Tania!
