Default OC for the first time

i just got back from a rather interesting experience at dunkin donuts. was open carrying for the first time and decided to walk down and get some donuts, the guy at the counter saw my hi-power and chuckled as he took my order. the woman behind the counter started asking me all kinds of questions about why i was carrying, was it legal, and did i have a permit and all that other stuff. she also said something about thinking i was gonna rob the place and that she would have thrown hot water on my face or whatever, i was like ooookay.... i handed her one of the pamphlets i got off this site and she looks at it and says something about it being too small for her to read (more like too high abover her reading level, if you ask me lol.) so i explained to her that in this state you don't need a license to open carry and that i carry for self defense and all that and left with my donuts.

Keep it up and you might just become famous like Viper some day

But really, good job Just be sure to have all your ducks in a row and a freshly charged voice recorder in case you run into any unsavories with a badge.

Congrats on your first time OCing. The pamphlet helps, along with knowing the statutes so you can answer questions off the fly without having to browse through references. Having a sense of humor and a smile helps with defusing a lot of anxiety from people who aren't used to seeing someone OCing as well.

How did 1700 turn into 2:00 PM? If the time has changed I ask that someone please PM or email me. It's happening tomorrow so posting a response here alone might not get the info to me in time.
