Default Positive then negative Encounter with the land lord

Well about three hours from this post I got out of classes and began packing some things up to head home. I had my 17 in the serpa holster strong side hip walking to my car. I get in and here comes the land lord with a knock on the window.
"Hey do you have a gun?"
    "Yes I do."
"Ok. I just wanted to see who it was and make sure it wasn't a random person around the lot."

This began a good conversation. I was caught off guard by the positive encounter.

    Edit
Got a call this morning that I need to conceal and he doesn't fell safe with it around. I love when people can't say something face to face and the conversation had to happen over the phone....

Sounds pretty good to me. What town was this at?

Excellent!! Sounds like a, "Oh, okay, you belong here!" moment.

I got a call asking me to conceal this morning. Deiced its not worth arguing any more since I'm moving out in three months. The amount of two facedness (is that a word?) is unbelievable.

Question, is there and stipulations in your lease about firearms?

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

Unless there is a stipulation in your lease I would OC. Screw him, your moving out in 3 months.

No and that is what I'm going to do. I looked into that before signing and have been carrying for two years no problem. I don't feel like arguing with someone who can't comprehend anything (after an hour on the phone I realized this) so I choose not to talk to him. I have no respect for someone who cannot say something to my face and has to call me the next morning to complain.

    edit
I was laughing when he was trying to bring up that the college is close.
