    Default Johnny and Brenda's in Philly

    Anyone here happen to have successfully CC'd at Johnny and Brenda's in Philadelphia, or know if they do pat-downs? I'm going in a few weeks, and the idea of traveling to Philly unarmed is undesirable.

    Thanks

    From their FAQs. Nice!

    Question: I heard the neighborhood is kind of rough- should I be scared?
    Answer: Be alert and aware of your surroundings and you’ll be fine! Like anywhere in the city, it is important to pay attention when you are walking around late at night after hanging out and having a few beers.

    I've CC'd in Johnny Brenda's and Standard Tap with no issues. (I believe they are owned by the same owner.) No pat downs when I've went.

    I've been there at least 10 times, and have never been wanded or patted down once.
    Depending on what you're going there for ( I assume a show upstairs), it gets very crowded, so keep it close - don't want too many people bumping into you!

    Lol, there's no "and", it's Johnny Brenda's, like Johnny's last name is Brenda.

    So there is no Brenda really just Johnny. So no pat downs.

    I'd mock you but I can't get that player to load, so I did a little creative searching... This broad?

    It's better than a lot of things I guess. I don't hate, unless you listen to music that doesn't have a melody, or some atonal 2 chord bullshit you try to pass as a melody.

    Edit;

    Oh man, a week before your show;
    The Lindsey Buckingham Appreciation Society performs MIRAGE...and more
    How could there possibly be more?!

    Yep, that's it. 95% of the music I listen to is female, because I typically just can't stand listening to dudes sing.

    Fishtown is pretty safe. There's no NEED to carry there, but they won't pat you down.
