    Makes perfect sense to me. They're trying for the government contract that is out for bids and one of the requirements, from what I understand, is a thumb safety. Note that they are first putting it on the .45.

    From their website it appears that it is an ambi safety. Click the "more" link for a right side image.

    Bad CR, no donut! You didn't fully check out the specs, it is ambi.


    ETA: Ambi safety is part of the government requirement for the bid so I thought that since I knew it everyone would. My bad.

    I agree, add a descent sized one so I can rest my thumb on it when it is in the down position for when I'm shooting "Jedi Lycanthrope Style".
