Default PASSHE Schools and College Carry

    Hey everyone,

Long story short - I'm currently pushing the State System of Higher Ed to acknowledge they are unable to prohibit firearms on their campuses. My argument hinges on the extension of preemption to Commonwealth agencies under Act 10 of 2011.

Really simple. If you're a CURRENT STUDENT at a state school and would like to be able to carry on campus - Please drop me a PM, and tell me which school. I'm thinking there may come a time when having additional voices will come in handy - but I'm not going to share ANY info, even what school, without discussing it with you, individually, first.

Things are looking somewhat positive right now... but I'm not sure what the next step will be.

Good point. I think I could throw support behind something like this.

Just got the 3rd notification in the last 2 weeks of an assault on campus.

I went to the Gun Show in Oaks last weekend. Saw a WHOLE BUNCH of folks in WCU sweatshirts. Anyone want to change the campus rules?

i graduated from Kutztown last may, and let me tell you while i was there, there were multiple rapes and assaults with the result of deaths or being sent to the hospital for multiple months. I agree very strongly that it should be allowed.

I go to NCC and I would love to be able to carry on campus...let's just say there are plenty of unsavory types on campus, and not too long ago a girl was raped down the hall from a classroom I was in. Had someone been able to respond, there might have been a different outcome. They are just denying common sense, and putting us all at risk, especially because the campus 'security' doesn't carry firearms. A man with a gun on the school grounds would go unanswered until a Bethlehem Twnshp. unit could respond, and by then the body count has the potential to be horriffic.

    Let's fuckin' do this!
Popichak is probably trolling this for his next story...

As a WCU Alum, I would support this. Let me know if there is something I can do. Don't have much pull down there anymore. I could try to contact the Alumni Association.

Well, there is always the "I'm not gonna donate until...." card. Then again, no one says you have to donate afterwards

    How recent an alum?
