One of my boys went to Freedom Armory with me today.

Here he is with his Mosin-Nagant / flame thrower



We also shot my SKS for the first time. This the first 10 shots at 50 yards with the iron sights (the 3 fliers were the first 3 shots)



Here is my son shooting the SKS



And last but not least. This is the young lady who was in the lane next to us shooting the semi-auto Barrett 50 BMG

I don't go to this one a lot (there is a pistol range closer to my house). The rifle range is nice. I noticed today that my membership expires tomorrow so it seemed like a good day to do some rifle shooting and renew my membership.

I plan on going there this week in the evening sometime . Gonna sight in the 300wm . And 5.56 . Do they still rent the barret ? I didn't see it last time I was there

They do still rent it out. Not sure about the rental fee but it's $5.00 per shot for ammo

I got to shoot one last fall. The smile on you're face after is well worth $5 bucks a round IMHO.

My range lets me shoot whatever caliber I want to.. but then again it's my back deck

I love to shoot my Mosin-Nagant at dusk..the flame rocks!

I finally found, at the Oaks Gun Show, a box of Soft Point ammo to legally use the Mosin to hunt with.

They must have been cleaning it . Didn't see it tonight . One day I'm gonna rent that thing ! I'll never park $12,000 into one so $5 a shot looks a lot cheaper haha
