A little 30 caliber action on Friday with my new toy.

According to the serial number she didn't kill any Germans or japs (manufactured in 1951), but maybe a chinaman.

Thursday and Friday with great weather, range not crowded, shooting 1k and being with a few of my old buds was great. Gonna be looking to do the same in August.

I finally got a chance to shoot the EP9 today. Very fun to shoot. I put 100 rounds of 115 grain remans through it using the Extar magazines. No problems.

Since early archery starts here next weekend, I took my older ( 7/8 YO) ten point Wicked Ridge FX4 to my buddy's farm.
Last year, they put new limbs on it due to a partial break in one limb.

It doesn't seem to group as well as the original limbs.

I doubt I'd take a shot beyond 40 and the longest shot I've ever made was 31 yards.

I shot from 20nto 50 and back to 20 making a few small scope adjustments.

It will probably still be too warm the first couple weeks of early 2B archery and I've usually only hunted till about 10AM till the temps start to drop.ⁿ

On Friday I went to the Lost River Machinegun Shoot in WV. The rain was annoying at times but it couldn't drown out my fun. I got turn a lot of ammo into noise and had a blast. They had targets out to 650 yards. The rain meant tracers and API were ok. I got to shoot a bring back MP40 with its original suppressor. Very rare. The owner let me run my 147gr subsonics through it several times. That was my favorite gun to shoot.
