Saturday evening I went back to my range to sight in my 1919A6 and my new "Dissipater" style AR15 build, and of course at that time the sky decided to open up with a crazy downpour that lasted forever. Luckily I keep a tarp in the jeep.

Sunday I went to a small machinegun shoot in Ohio.

I took my semi-auto junk: 1919A6 on the MAG-58 tripod, SAR-80, AR70/90, Dissipater AR15, Imbel FAL, Ishapore 2A1, M1 Garand, RPK, .308 Rem 700, Yugo SKS, and my soda can launching AR upper.

Some guys were really nice and let me shoot some machienguns I haven't been able to fire until that day: 7.62x54R 1910 Maxim, 7.62x39 RPD, 9mm Stemple, 5.56 HK23, MG42, .30-06 BAR, and I got to send a 40mm chalk round down range.

    My spot on the line:

It was cool seeing this German 24mm TB41 shoot.

This guy put on a show shooting his 75mm Pack Howitzer all day. He was shooting home made cast zinc projectiles and was a lot of fun to chat with about reloading those big rounds.

Tiring out my trigger finger shooting my A6 as fast as I can:

Making an appliance blow up with my Garand:

Taking out a dryer with my Rem 700:

    MAXIMizing my fun:

I thought the BAR was more controllable on the fast rate of fire than the slow rate of fire:

Full auto, short barrel .308 is just obnoxious. It blew the flash hider off the muzzle earlier that day.

You can see the 40mm chalk round in the air in this pic:

The MG42 was very high on my list to try:

    HK23 turning 5.56 into noise:

The RPD had the hottest handguard of any machinegun I've held onto:

What are the odds another AR70/90 builder would be there!? A nice surprise to meet another eccentric:

Yup it was a beautiful day. Almost too beautiful. Without the pop up canopy I would of been done for. I drank water all day and still didn't pee from about 9am when I got there to 5pm when I left.

That's awesome! Looks like a really expensive day. Putin's fault

My plan is that when I die, there will be no ammo available to purchase at my estate sale! Shoot it all!

    That did look like fun.

Magnum day at Greater Pitt Gun club.

7mm mag likes the Nosler Ballistic tips Quarterbore gave me.

I ran 2 ladders. One with tge Noslers and one with Hammer Hunters in 131gr

The Hammers may need some tweaking or RL23 .

I also got my Savage. 300 winmag close to zero with 180 gr Nosler Accbonds over 69.8 gr of Imr4350.

The Tikka ( also .30 winmag) had a 160 gr Hammer Hunter ladder which ended up at over 3300 fps with 79 gr of RL23

Made it to the range last Sunday and today. I need to start going regularly again, even with the cost of ammo.

I can hit reasonably on target, but need to work on stamina.

Every weekend...my "office" is a 600 yard range.

Lots of nice folks and nice rigs. They like to let the range officer try their guns. Couldn't ask for a better situation.

Pics wont post...but Tommy Gun Shooting Range, Lords Valley.

Pics might post if you make them smaller than 1 meg in size but I haven't figured out how to post them with my phone.
