I'm not a huge fan of camo guns...but I will say that you did a great job! Can you describe the materials and technique used for us?

Thanks guys. I'm really not a big fan of traditional camo on handguns either , I think they're to small but I figured this would be good practice for me.
I used a olive base then made my own stencils and faded in some tan, brown, a green that I mixed and some white. and came up wih this.
I wasn't happy with the sharp contrast of the lines so I faded the edges with a matte black and a tan. It gave it a weathered look as you see here in the final outcome.
I then finished the whole thing with a ultra flat clear with a bit of white in it.Last edited by Hugo16; February 3rd, 2008 at 10:58 AM.
