Re: philadelphia national guard armory
AppPromo shows have gotten worse all the time. Went to Leesport and wanted to ask for my money. Don't think I will go to any shows they sponsor anymore.

I am surprised to hear about negativity from appalachian , i used to sell at thier shows in the past and they were always friendly ,generous and helpful with me. With my work schedual i would call for tables at the last minute and get them or if i was already at the show and if they had empty tables near me they would let me spread out for free. In my book they are awesom.
No Peace In Our Time.

Wow. That's a heck of a bad response to a customer in any line of business. Would it have been so hard for them to just reply with a "Thanks for the suggestions" type of response instead? The result is that not only am I glad I didn't go but I don't think I'll have such a hard time deciding not to go in the future.

Re: philadelphia national guard armory
I went there on Saturday. It was my first gun show. I suppose I shouldn't hold it against them, but considering it's likely one of the closest gun shows to people such as myself, who live in South Jersey, it was hard finding affordable firearms that were compliant with our lousy laws.
I enjoyed myself, and my brother in law bought a nice .45 caliber Carbine, but I didn't see too much I was interested in. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday though.
I hope to check out the Valley Forge gun show next time. I've heard really good stuff about that show.

Re: philadelphia national guard armory
I went to the last Oaks show at 2:30 in the afternoon, thinking 'It'll take one hour to walk thru everything' And then, I walked in and noticed they took up BOTH HALLS. I left after an hour and 45, not quite seeing it all. It is the old Oaks show X 2. Yeah, there were nonsense vendors but there were twice as many gun sellers as last time.
