They were almost the same in 93 and 91. $500s.

This is the first time in my life I questioned people coming out of a gun show about how packed it was inside. Having been to this show many times before, I could not resolve the lack of any parking spaces whatsoever with the small size of the show. I asked 3 groups of people coming out before I paid my money.

It wasn't the end of the world, I've been there and done that with crowded gun shows, but I would have turned around had I known. This one is close to where I live and small and frequent so I would have gone home.

I went Saturday afternoon and got there around 1:30. Very crowded compared to earlier shows there. Got a good deal on a Russina SKS and ammo had crept up a little bit compared to Allentown a couple of weeks ago. A good little show none the less.

I'm curious. Did he want $20 for a PICS on a gun you were buying from Him??

yes...cost of gun + tax + 20.00 pics charge...and if I used a credit card,an extra 3.5%.....its the principle of the matter...so I bought the same thing for the same price, with a credit card with no extra charge at army navy...his loss..one less sale for him to pay his table cost at the show.

Yea, that's a little over the edge. I can see nim charging the fees he has to pay like $5 PICS and if he is a small dealer the 3.5% CC fee. Sales tax happens. Not sure how to justify the extra $15 though when you're selling your own stock.

BTW, I've found that cash is a wonderful thing to use as barter at gunshows.
