While this C&E show is certainly full of crap, so have the last few PGCA shows I've been to (Tarentum).
Same old farts with the same old guns they had overpriced for the last 10 years that are more interested in B.S.ing to the guy at the next table than answering a potential buyers question.
I am still an occasional seller as well as a buyer, the fact is that there has been a change in the typical buyer over the last 10-15 years (IMO).
Now it is more "Tacticool" and high end 1911's when years ago it was old Winchesters and mil surps.
I normally look for parts at shows and not really guns, I know the C&E shows are no good for parts and the PCGA shows are, however, the old crusty dealer mentality that dominates the PCGA shows are a turn off for younger buyers just as the C&E shows are a turn off for the older buyers.
I do agree with the club shows as a place to find the deals, same goes with the small fire dept type shows.
